Licensed
to Pill
Licensed to Pill brings
us an insidious look into
the modern world of prescription
solutions and over the
counter remedies; as,
our lives problem continue
to have a cure that comes
in a bottle and requires
a dosage. From The
Grab.com, this tasteful
animation gives us a humorous
look at ourselves and
the pharmaceutical industry
that society has become
dependant upon.

Anime
Top 10
Clear
your preconceptions of the
Disney idea of animation:
singing gerbils, hip dragons,
reptiles with eyelashes,
and guaranteed G ratings.
Like Manga, Anime is produced
for all age groups, not
just for children.

Heavy
Metal
In the mid-1970's, while
in Paris to set up a French
edition of "National
Lampoon", publisher
Len Mogel discovered a new
adult science fiction/fantasy
comic magazine, "Metal
Hurlant" (Screaming
Metal). Impressed with the
concept, Mogel licensed
an American version and
named it HEAVY METAL.
